Cooperative player-versus-player conflict
Car bombs and turf attacks
A car bomb is a coordinated attack in which two gangsters work together to damage a rival's turf building and disrupt part of their criminal income.
How a car bomb works
One participant supplies a vehicle packed with explosives while the other provides the getaway car. The team chooses a target turf, attempts the attack and then has to escape. Preparation, the characters involved and the target's defences all influence the outcome.
Why turf matters
Turf buildings generate resources and provide useful capabilities. Damaging one can interrupt income, ammunition production or the protection offered by a pad. That makes an attack more than a single action: it can create an opening in a wider rivalry between players or crews.
Defending your criminal empire
Security and heavies improve the protection around your turf. Active players also need to watch for threats, maintain damaged buildings and decide whether a suspicious move calls for defence, investigation or retaliation.
The chase after an attack
After an attempt, the defending gangster has a limited opportunity to pursue the attackers and uncover who was involved. A successful escape can protect the team's identity; a failed one can turn a hidden strike into an open conflict.
