Personal Bullet Factory Changes

Tuesday, July 20th, 2010

From now on personal bullet factories will no longer automatically produce bullets.

To produce bullets you must visit your bullet factory from your turf and press the “Produce Bullets” button.

Bullets can be produced once per hour and the size of your factory will depend on the number of bullets that can be produced.

This change will benefit active players as you will be required to visit your factory to continue to produce the bullets.

Zombie Infection Outbreak 2 – Crew based

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

Things have been rather quiet on the streets of Street Crime lately. All of you no doubt are eagerly anticipating the release of kill and attack. So to spice things up a little bit we have listened to some nice suggestions over the past few weeks and taken some action.

Introducing Zombie Infection 2 – A new out break of the zombie virus has occurred 50 miles away from the streets of Street Crime, the first infected are expected to arrive friday at 17:00 game time. Work as a team in your crews to slay the most infected zombies to earn yourself and your crew big prizes.

The top 3 crews will win there crew a unique crew item, which will not be able to be won or bought anywhere else in the game, possibly ever again.

The top 5 players will each win 14 days free memberships, a special badge for there profile identifying them forever more as a top notch hunter of zombies and the following tiered prizes in credit items.

  • Top Killer: 200 credits
  • Second: 150 credits
  • Third: 100 credits
  • Fourth: 75 credits
  • Fifth: 50 credits

Zombies can bite you, in which case you must visit the hospital and buy the anti toxin to be released. Whilst its up to you to buy the toxin as quickly as possible, the longer you leave it the longer the recovery time before you can get back out into the action will be. Also we’ve added a somewhat sadistic twist, whilst bitten and not cured, your profile status will show ‘infected’, whilst you are infected anyone that sends you a message or attempts to mug you will also become infected, make sure you check peoples status’s before you take actions.

Zombies in this outbreak are tougher than before and take a few more bullets to knock down and make sure they stay down. Its also a good chance for you to test out your new weaponry.

To coincide with the outbreak we will also be holding a 20% off credit item sale starting at 12:00 (midday) friday afternoon and lasting through till monday midday 12:00pm game time.

New Feature: Trade

Monday, May 17th, 2010

Today will see the release of a new feature Trade in which players can trade various items between each other securely.

The trade feature was created due to the short full with Auctions and several comments regarding the legitimacy of other players when trading crews and items. Trade allows you to be totally secure when trading items as the trade cannot be altered once locked in.

Trade allows two players to trade Casinos, Items, Credits, Crews, Cars, Credit Items, Money and Premium Codes securely. A player can initiate a trade with another player, who if agrees, can begin to trade various items with each other.

There is a chat facility within the trade which allows you to discuss the trade with the other player to ensure you can negotiate and come to an agreement.

Once each player has add their items to the trade they are required to lock their items in so that no further changes can be made. Once both players have locked in their items the trade must be finalised, only then will the items added to the trade be exchanged.

Saturday, April 10th, 2010

Today we released a few new features into the game as well as updated quite a few different aspects of the game which required attention as we gear up towards the eagerly anticipated release of attack! Below is just a run down of what was included in the update.

Achievements:

There are now 40+ achievements for you all to work towards unlocking with better scope for us to release more as the game progresses. Some of the achievements you will, unfortunately, have to achieve again such as Globetrotter and Drug Lord however some such as Complete all missions just require you to access the missions page to receive your reward.

* Note: Prostitute profits have been reset due to the release of the new achievement.

Stores:

We have had a total revamp of the stores page including protection store, transport store, honor points store. We have also released two completely new stores: Weapon Store and Ammo Store. Weapon store gives you the opportunity to purchase weapons from a choice of more than 20 different weapons which will unlock with varying requirements such as rank and honor. Finally the Ammo store allows you to trade your bullets which you made or purchased into sniper bullets or rockets for use with some of the heavy weapons available.

Weapon Locker:

Your inventory now includes a weapon locker which allows you to manage the weapons you own. You can unlock additional weapon slots through the game or from the credit store this allows you to train more weapons simultaneously. You have the ability to choose a sidearm, primary weapon and some equipment. Soon you will be able to train up your weapons at the shooting range, stay tuned for this update which is coming soon!

Other:

Some of you may of noticed various other aspects of the game which have been tweaked. The menu has been adjusted slightly to incorporate Achievements and Depot with the footer world icon being renamed Cities. The ruby page has had a small adjustment made to include the ability to exchange 3 ruby’s for an additional weapon slot. The city bank now uses compound interest when banking for a week. Heavies & Pad Upgrades + Gym Stats Degrade

Friday, March 19th, 2010

This afternoon we implemented as planned Heavies, Pad and Gym Stats Degrading. Below is a breakdown and some information about each.

Most importantly to all of our current players we imagine the gym stats degrading would alarm you at first. However there is a simple logic behind this. In reality if you don’t come online and train in the gym then you would start to lose gym stats rather than stay at the same point. Thus if you do not train for 48 hours you will begin to lose stats every 24 hours there after. This also helps to create a more level playing field in the fighting arena.

Heavies is the biggest new feature in street crime in this update. Heavies sole purpose is to guard yours and other crew mates turfs from attacks. Heavies can be hired and trained by you for a cost in energy and cash. Once trained they are ready for use, you can send them to crew mates turfs to garrison them there or leave them at your own for extra protection. Heavies cost an hourly wage which is stated on the page. Heavies sent to you become your responsibility to pay once they arrive at your turf. Heavies still on the way to another players turf from you are still your responsibility until they arrive. If you fail to pay the wages of any heavies which are your responsibility you will lose heavies out or garrisoned at another players turf first. Followed by the heavies residing at your turf.

An upgrade to the pad has introduced new features such as upgrading the security on your pad, with generators and barbed wire fencing. You can also perform a limited version of banking from within your home called online banking which allows you to bank some money and send some small amounts to friends only. You also get an overview of all thats going on at your turf on the turf page, with the ability to recall your heavies from a crew mates turf and or send back heavies sent to protect you by your crew mates.

Hope you enjoy the new features.

Attack Progress Update

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

We are now moving into the final stages of development and testing of the attack and kill functionality, so we thought we would show you some screenshots and pictures of whats to come.

The above screenshots are but a handful of whats to come!
As you will know we are working hard to finish this and it we are now on the home stretch but we won’t announce release of all of the new features until we are 100% happy that everything works as it should and we have worked all bugs out of the system as best as we can.

Heres some more stuff coming into the game when we release the features.

Heavy Weaponry

The RPG is one of 3 all new heavy weaponry guns never before seen in any street crime version, these heavy weapons fire unique rocket ammunition and carry a significant punch when trying to damage a fellow gangsters turf.

Some New Credit Items

Double Exp, allows you to equip your character for 24 hours with double experience from everything in the game, allowing for ultra fast ranking. Would be especially handy if you wanted to rank quickly back up to get your own back on a guy that killed you.
Energiser Plus is a new credit item which can be equipped to your character for 7 days and allows you to regenerate energy at double the normal rate.
Chaffeur allows your character to ship cars to and from cities which you are currently not in and last for 7 days.

Stay tuned gangsters!
