Bullet Factory Release Amended

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

Due to kill and all the additional changes required to the other features regarding kill having not been completed yet we have decided it would be a big advantage to those who held the bullet factories without the possibility of being killed.

We have therefore delayed the release of the bullet factories in order to keep the game balance even between all players.

We are sorry for the delay, stay tuned for more information about the release of kill and bullet factories.

New Feature: Tasks?

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

Today we released a new feature on Street Crime called Tasks.

Tasks are there to help new players get to grips with Street Crime by interacting with various aspects of the game. Each task has a description and a reward which aims to teach players the basics of the game.

Once a task is complete you can collect your reward. Some tasks will then unlock another task for you to complete.

If you complete all the tasks you will have a good understanding of the game which will hold you in good stead when fighting the street alone.

Stay tuned for more updates coming in the near future.

Kill

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

Over the past few weeks we have given you some heads ups that we are planning kill and everything that will go into it. We have now finished this stage and are ready to announce to you all our plans. We know we have been quiet over the last week or so but please still continue to support us by voting and inviting your friends to play so that the game can continue to grow.

We wanted to try and make Kill original and different from all the other mafia / gangster games out there, to do so we decided to go all out. We don’t want to give too much away yet as our new system will be much different to everything that you are all used too, but its also much more fun, less of a pain when you die and involves more planning and work than just clicking a button.

To implement the new system we are also making some MASSIVE changes to some of the existing features, which are also going to be fantastic and much more fun and involving than how they currently work.

We are also going to be launching a task based tutorial in the next few days, which will take you through the game in some really neat steps.

Also lookout for our special halloween events.

Features Added Over The Weekend

Monday, October 19th, 2009

Just before the weekend kicked off we released a small update to the garage page which allows you to store one vehicle each in personal safeguard, this is free and means that no one will be able to steal that vehicle from you even if you are in a crew.

Also in the middle of last week we made a large update to our voting system which now means you get all sorts of rewards for voting for us. If you do not vote on particular buttons from day to day your vote rewards for clicking on that button will not change. We have also added some progress and achievement bars which offer some nice rewards for completing them.

Look out especially for tommorow as we will be announcing the details of kill and what it will mean in this version of Street Crime. Also look out for the rest of this week for the build up to our spooky ghouls halloween season.

Auction Upgrade

Thursday, October 15th, 2009

We have completed an upgrade of the auction page to make it easier to manage your auctions and bids.

On the auctions page you will now see a “Your auctions” section which shows the auctions you have started and a “Auctions you have bidded on” section which shows any auctions you have bidded on.

In addition to this owners now have up to 24 hours after the auction has finished to pick a winning bid otherwise the auction is removed and all items/money returned to their rightful owners.

The last addition is that one player can now only have 5 auctions open at any one time, this is to prevent a player from listing everything they have.

Auctions Upgrade – Crew Auctions

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

Today we have implemented the ability to auction your crew. Previously it was not possible to sell your crew to another gangster legitimately.

Crew auctions work the same as any other auctions with the only constraint being that the bidder must not be part of a crew else the bid will not be accepted.

Stay tuned for further upgrades to auctions and a number of other features with in the game.

Game Updates

Monday, October 12th, 2009

Hi folks,

Two important updates really:-

Firstly the crew limit has been upped from 20 to 30 meaning there are now 10 new crew slots available.

Secondly today we had a meeting to discuss street crime with other developers and friends which was very, very productive. We discussed alot of aspects to do with the game in massive detail, the meeting went on for just over 2 hours! Solid game talk in which time we designed and structured improvements and brand new features for the game. We just thought we would let you know that you most certainly have not yet seen all thats to come with Street Crime. Also that we will always continue to develop and build street crime into a better place for us all, so please please keep all of your ideas coming in as some of them have been fabulous so far and we do listen to what you have to say unlike some other games. So if you have a great idea and it works for street crime then by telling us it, you could see it in the game in the very near future.
