Nightclub/Prostitution Upgrade

Yesterday the nightclub feature which can be purchased from the plot underwent an overhaul in order to increase its use and profitability within the game. Previously the nightclub only offered a reward of $25,000 per hour which after some calculations appeared be giving the user a loss rather than gain.

The nightclub has now been collaborated with prostitution in order to give more benefits. Not only has the hourly profit increased from $25,000 to $55,000 it also increases your prostitution capacity by 5. On top of this upon purchasing the nightclub you are given 5 new prostitutes called “Pole Dancers” which cannot be purchased from anywhere else on the game. They are the most profitable prostitute therefore its important you look after them.

The final reward is that you also unlock a new prostitute location called “Nightclub Owner” which allows you to gain maximum profit when sending out your girls without the risk of them becoming seriously ill.

The nightclub still costs $10,000,000 but you are getting alot more for your money, on the downside you now need to be a Bodyguard in order to own a nightclub.

Automated Script Prevention

To further prevent scripting we have added some nice little security measures to our anti script page. At random we will be showing different types of anti script checkers, using different methods of verification. We do not allow scripting and we want to make that very clear.

Organised Crime Changes

Today we have made some important changes to Organised Crimes please all read carefully.

All Organised Crimes have to be completed within 24 hours of being started otherwise they will be automatically dismantled. All members of the organised crime team will receive 90% of there investments back or if you are the driver you will receive your vehicle back. The leader of the team will receive nothing back and be jailed for 1 hour as punishment for his or hers lack of organisation and or going offline and leaving the rest of the team stuck.

If you are dropped from the team or the leader dismantles the team you will now also receive 90% of your investments back or if your are the driver, your vehicle back.

There is also one other important change to the Organised Crime when you tell the boss you are ready, if after 4 hours the leader has not completed the organised crime or the team is still not ready, you will have a new option to leave the team. If you choose to leave using this button then you will once again receive 90% of your investments back or if your are the driver, your vehicle back.

However if you choose to leave before you have even told the leader you are ready you will as before receive nothing back.

This Evenings Lead Problem

This evening we made a small error in a script which caused some of you to have your lead bought from you even though you were not selling it and to make it even better you got nothing for it!

We have rectified the problem and all of you should have received your lead back and a message of apology on our behalf. If in the unlikely circumstance you did not receive a message from us nor did you get your lead back. Then please get in contact with an Admin or submit a new helpdesk ticket and we will gladly help.

Also if you do not want to sell your lead you should still set the price to 0, this is the correct way of keeping your lead from being bought, even after this event.

Short Outage This Morning

First 3 Players Make Godfather

Street Crime would like to congratulate the first 3 gangsters of version 3 on reaching the prestigious rank of Godfather. The first 3 gangsters were Casanova, Tyrasa and fat and ginga each of them has received a special Street Crime prize.

Tonights Short Downtime

This evening between roughly 7.40 and 8.30pm gametime we had approximately 50 minutes of down time. We apologise for this. The issue is fixed and the server is now fully operational again so get your game back on!

In Game Update / City Property Release Schedule

This evening we have announced the City Property release schedule for all Casinos and Bullet Factories. You can see the list by visiting droplist if you are logged in. On this page you will see the city properties due to be released in the next 7 days (this page updates automatically so keep checking back). There are two different methods of city properties being released Auction or Drop. Drop means that the city property will be set to no owner at around the time specified in the drop list for the first player to get there and take it over! Auction means the city property will go for sale 3 days prior to the end time in the ‘Auctions’ page under the ‘City’ menu and at the specified end time the highest standing bidder will become the new owner. You must be at least rank Enforcer to hold a casino and at least Mob Boss to hold a bulletfactory.

Today we also have tweaked a few areas of the game to tailor better for the current demand, this included some changes to the amount of bullets produced by your personal bullet factories and the amount of lead gained from dominating cities amongst other things.

Bullet Factories are now producing 250 bullets an hour and buying lead from players for a reasonable price, if no reasonably priced lead is available then the city Bullet Factories simply will not produce!

Welcome back to Street Crime V3

We’d like to say a warm welcome back to all of you gunning gangsters! We hope that your all enjoying the new scenery, features and gameplay hopefully you will all agree that it is hugely improved. We’d also like to take this opportunity to pledge to you even more new features and additions / upgrades to the game over the next few months. Our aim is to build street crime into not only a great game but also a great place to be!

To do this we need all your help, you can invite friends to the game using tons of different tools – facebook/twitter/hotmail contacts/ and taking the time to invite just one or two friends can really make the difference. Else you can vote for us daily on the voting topsites here vote page >>.
Just doing one of these things either daily or every now and again when you have the time can really help to make street crime grow and be a better place for us all!

We also love new ideas! If you have a new idea send a message to an admin.

In a few days we will also be announcing the drop schedule for the casinos and bullet factories, so watch out for more information on that.
